Cerebral Palsy Nepal (registered as Self-Help Group for Cerebral Palsy, Nepal) is Nepal’s only non-governmental and non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people with cerebral palsy and their families. Since our foundation 27 years ago, we have helped thousands of individuals with cerebral palsy and development delay to overcome many of the barriers they face, and to live happy and fulfilled lives.
Providing medical and therapeutic help across Nepal
There are thousands of children in desperate need of medical and therapeutic services who cannot access our Dhapakhel Centre. Our Mobile Team provides these services around Nepal through running day camps.
The Mobile Team brings together staff with different specialisms – medical doctors, physiotherapists and home visitors – to offer in the field the kind of holistic service offered by the CPRC. The Team assess new cases and see follow-ups cases. Often, they work in partnership with local NGOs in managing the camps and identifying new cases.
The camps also assess children with epilepsy and provide medicine.
